Atalanta's Comeback Victory
Atalanta fell behind to Salernitana in the 10th minute when Boulaye Dia scored a tap-in. However, the Bergamo side fought back to equalize through Duván Zapata in the 23rd minute. Atalanta then took control of the game in the second half, with Mario Pašalić putting them ahead in the 47th minute. Aleksey Miranchuk extended the lead with a superb goal in the 52nd minute, before Charles De Ketelaere added a fourth in the 83rd minute. Miranchuk's goal was particularly impressive, as he received the ball on the edge of the box and unleashed a powerful right-footed shot that flew into the top corner.
The win keeps Atalanta in fourth place in Serie A, while Salernitana remain in 16th place. Atalanta will face Juventus in their next match on January 15, while Salernitana will face Lecce on January 14.
